The rational configuration of the distribution terminal is especially important. At present, the development of the distribution technology of automation terminals is rapid, but research on the optimal configuration of the terminals is still relatively scarce. In order to improve the reliability of power supply and reduce the investment in equipment, the optimal allocation of automation terminals has become an urgent problem to be solved. Therefore, an improved fault mode and consequence analysis method is proposed to calculate the power supply reliability of the distribution network with the genetic algorithm that allows the optimal configuration scheme of the economic optimization model of the distribution network’s reliability.
