Over recent years, the mainland examination cohort has revealed a gradual trend of getting younger. More and more high school students are attempting to apply for undergraduate degrees in foreign universities, leading to an increasing trend of taking the IELTS examination. This article examines the challenges of candidates tackling IELTS English reading within the context of college entrance exams.
