A basic formulation of electromagnetic fields and waves in such a waveguide is given in terms of dyadic Green's functions in different regions separated by a filled medium. The dyadic Green's functions for different regions of the waveguide due to a source located in the waveguide are constructed and their coefficients are obtained by making use of the boundary conditions.
