The antenna has a low-profile and balanced structure comprising a folded loop strip, and it is especially suited for application in mobile phone (designed packaged within the all-metal housing and the ground plane length is 120mm) for multiband operation. The influence of the all-metal housing of the antenna is considered when the proposed antenna is been designing. Preliminary studies of an offset-fed loop-dipole antenna for all-metal handsets
