Numerical analysis of biological effects on human tissues exposed to microwave radiations
Recently in the of field RF/microwave communication, significant advances have been made in the characterization of microwave fields and energy absorption, as well as in the analysis of biological responses of organisms exposed to this kind of electromagnetic radiation. In every day human are affected by the radiation of electromagnetic field emitted from various electromagnetic sources. Two major factors are considered among many other factors when considering effect of radiation from antenna, one is the skin penetration depth (PD) and another is the specific absorption rate (SAR). The direct calculation of specific absorption rate (SAR) and skin penetration depth (PD) are more difficult task because of the complexity of the human body structure. In this paper, we numerically evaluated and analyzed the skin penetration depth (PD) and specific absorption rate (SAR) for various human tissues with different range of frequencies. The results arrived from this analysis can be extensively used for the selection of antenna location, SAR reduction etc. The results obtained from the analysis and the corresponding graphs were presented at the end of the paper.
