Highly eutrophic water bodies in southern regions subject to regular anthropogenic impact are in the most vulnerable position. The level of manifestation of «water bloom» in the upstream zone of the Tsimlyanskoye reservoir in the most productive areas of the open and closed coastal zone, as well as in the central zone is often quite high and requires regular implementation of a set of measures to improve water quality.
