Closely related to other studies carried out in the recent past on the behavior of the lithium-ion battery, this work represents an optimization of a model already studied and analyzed in a battery, based on the influence of the discharge current customized on different test cycles of road vehicles (e.g. WLTC Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Cycle and UDDS– Urban Dynamometer Driving Schedule). In order to optimize the model and carry out a more detailed analysis closer to the real situation encountered in operation it is necessary to add to the battery model the influence of temperature on the performance of the li-ion battery, on the voltage supplied by it, on the current, on the State of Charge and on the overall safety of the battery and implicitly of the electric vehicle.
