Design/methodology/approach – Data are collected through self-administered questionnaires. This paper SEM-PLS analysis is to identify the relationship of halal awareness, religious orientation, and consumer motive purchase intention the Indonesian consumers. Findings – The SEM PLS analysis results indicate that all factors have positive and significant influence on Halal Product Purchase Intention. Research limitations/implications – Like other empirical studies, this study is not without its limitations. The study can be strengthened by including participants in other geographical areas. As Indonesia is trying to play for a bigger role in the halal industry, more research is needed to identify and address problematic aspects of the consumption of halal Product. Originality/value – This study contributes to and extends our understanding of the halal product purchase Intentions, identifying the Role of halal awareness and consumer motive.
