In the paper, an FMEA approach is used for an Electric Converted Vehicle (ECV) to identify potential failure modes that could occur due to the conversion process and their effects on the vehicle's operation. In the work potential failure modes of the electrical and mechanical systems, such as the battery, electric motor, and transmission, and evaluating their severity, occurrence probability, and detection likelihood are studied.
