An autonomous voltage control for distribution power system using pole-transformer
In this paper, we propose a new voltage control method that focuses on a pole transformer in the distribution line feeder. In this study, it is assumed that the pole-transformer has been implemented the sensing function of the primary and secondary voltages, and the controlling function of the transformer's tap. A tap control algorithm is implemented in the pole-transformer. In order to prevent the hunting phenomenon of the tap control, the tap value is determined by carrying out the estimated calculation of the secondary voltage after the control. In order to verify the performance of the proposed method, it has been applied to a typical distribution line feeder model system. The simulation results show that the proposed system is able to control very fluctuation of the demand and the photovoltaic generators.
