When organic dye material is being used on the top of the device and it shows a positive effect under red illumination. This device structure gives the 11.7nA photo-current under red-light, while bare ZnO is highly insensitive toward the red spectrum. The functionality of the device structure is checked under white light (one sun) and found an enhancement of 1.8pA.
