This study was designed to identify the representation of resistance aspects in the dominance of Balinese cultural patriarchy in Indonesian fine art and interpret its symbols. The artists whose works were chosen as a case study in this study are I Gusti Ayu Kadek Murniasih and Citra Sasmita. This study used a multidisciplinary approach (Feminism and Semiotics). Based on the results of the analysis, the aspect of resistance is represented through visual symbols that are typical in the two works of artists tend to be born from the experience of the environment that is close to everyday life to a traumatic experience that gives birth to pain and fear. 摘要
在当前的印尼艺术话语中,对作品的阅读不再局限于对形式元素的分析和解读结果,而是考虑到艺术家与社会文化因素的关系,从而描绘出艺术的多面性。本研究旨在找出峇里文化父权制在印尼美术中占主导地位的反抗表现,并解读其象征。本研究选取的个案艺术家是I Gusti Ayu Kadek Murniasih和Citra Sasmita。本研究采用多学科方法(女性主义和符号学)。从分析的结果来看,抵抗的方面是通过视觉符号来表现的,这在艺术家的两件作品中是典型的,他们往往是从对接近日常生活的环境的体验中产生的,到一种产生痛苦和恐惧的创伤性体验。对于他们两人来说,绘画是一种宣泄的过程,是一种转换思想和排列的媒介,使所要传达的信息达到更广泛的范围。
