Different methods are involved in separation of bio-particles. Bio-particles like bacteria, WBC, RBC are separated in a micro fluidic device by using pillars and applying different types of fields. In this paper, different shapes of pillars are analysed for efficient separation of bio-particles without applying different types of field, which pays way for the development of bio-particle separation filter.
