Congcong, Liu Wen","doi":"10.1109/IMCCC.2014.141","DOIUrl":null,"url":null,"abstract":"In order to solve the problem of existing a large estimation error when using the current algorithm which based on the autocorrelation matrix eigenvalue decomposition to estimate the SNR of the short signal frame in the communication system, this paper proposes an improved blind SNR estimation algorithm. Based on the previous algorithm, it introduces an idea of re-constructing the autocorrelation matrix by using the model of discrete multi-channel. Simulation shows that the standard deviations of SNR estimation are less than 0.5dB which are 1.2dB in the previous algorithm when the SNR ranges from 0dB to 20dB. This is very important for practical implications, especially for the satellite communication.
