Manuals containing 3D images are considered more efficient than classic manuals. Combination of 3D interactive images with World Wide Web technologies makes the educational activities and especially the e-learning more attractive. Some web technologies used in creation of 3D interactivity were compared in order to choose a suitable environment for learning in the field of medical devices. Results of the study were used in the elaboration of an international e-learning platform in the frame of the Leonardo da Vinci educational program.
