Two field surveys were undertaken from 03.10.2006 to 23.10.2006 and 11.02.09 to 18.02.09 to study the fish diversity of this area. Analysis of the data revealed the occurrence of 18 species of fishes belonging to 5 orders and 7 families, including an interesting species namely Barilius arunachalensis.
