Decreased levels of estrogen and progesterone cause both physical and psychological changes. Menopause will interfere with physical and psychological health which can have long-term effects if not treated seriously, so that it can cause women entering menopause to experience anxiety. Psychological complaints are very individual in nature and can be influenced by socio-cultural, educational, environmental and economic factors. Anxiety experienced by women approaching the age of menopause, one of which is due to concerns in dealing with situations that have never been experienced before and anxiety about things that may arise such as physical complaints in the form of sweating at night, headaches, cessation of sexual desire, feeling no longer beautiful, so that it is feared that it will affect her husband's and social relations. This study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of premenopausal mothers with anxiety facing menopause in Bangsri Karangpandan Village. The research design used was an analytical survey research with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study amounted to 49 respondents. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis using Chi Square statistical test. The results of statistical tests using Chi Square showed that the p value was 0.000 <0.05 and the contingency coefficient value C = 0.560, the closeness in this study is the sufficient contingency coefficient. There is a relationship between knowledge and anxiety facing menopause in Bangsri Karangpandan Village in 2021.
