The linearly polarized wave is synthesized from left-handed circularly polarized (LHCP) waves and right-handed circularly polarized (RHCP) waves with equal amplitude and phase difference. The phase difference value of the LHCP and RHCP components determines the polarization angle of the synthesized linearly polarized wave. And the phase difference between the LHCP/RHCP component of the synthesized linear polarization is realized by a phase shifter.
