Following our previous work on the estimation of blood velocity using high frequency ultrasound, we demonstrate the generation of in-vivo two dimensional (2D) color flow maps. In this paper, using a transducer with a nominal center frequency of 50 MHz, we demonstrate that velocities below 1 mm/s can be distinguished from the surrounding tissue. High resolution 2D maps of very low velocity blood flow within the ciliary body and processes of the rabbit eye are presented.
