However, wind power generation tends to unstable due to its intermittency. The installation of BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) on the power system which utilizes wind resource may overcome this intermittency problem. In this paper, a review on placement and sizing optimization of BESS in power system with wind farm integration has presented. The comparison of various methods indicates that placement and sizing optimization of BESS can reduce the loss.
