Hyperventilation (HV) is one of the basic procedures during EEG to enable activation of epileptiform activity. Rarely, HV can activate benign EEG rhythms. Herein, we illustrate two pediatric cases with bursts of rhythmic mid-temporal theta of drowsiness (RMTD), activated by hyperventilation.
