Trademark and IPO underpricing

Abstract

Although trademarks are mentioned in many firms’ initial public offering (IPO) prospectuses, their influences on the IPO valuation process are underexplored. This paper studies the relationship between a firm's pre-IPO trademarks and its IPO underpricing.
