Abstract

The paper presents the results of physical-mechanical and tribological studies of composites based on polytetrafluoroethylene and natural shungite. It has been established that the introduction of shungite leads to an increase in the wear resistance of the material by 114 times compared to an unfilled polymer. Electron microscopy has shown that a secondary layer is formed on the friction surface of the composites, which protects the material from wear.
