Abstract

We study the sonocapillary effect driven by ultrasound by controlling variables. In this experiment, the guideway of the Michelson interferometer is placed vertically, so that the measurable accuracy is reduced to 10 μ m . And we expand the observation range (0-1000 μ m ), find that the sonocapillary effect has an obvious peak value near 30 μ m ; The sonocapillary effect gradually decreases as the gap increases and finally becomes stable.
