Abstract

In dredging project, the $\gamma$-ray based source densitometer is widely used to measure the concentration in solid-liquid two-phase flow, whereas it is radiant, polluted, and inaccurate. Recently, electric densitometers based on Electric Impedance Tomography(EIT) technology has developed to replace the $\gamma$-ray source densitometer. However, the calibration and velocity of electrical densitometer is very difficult since complex working conditions cannot be uniformly tested and reconstructed. In this paper, a simple and effective device is designed to calibrate the results of the electrical densitometer. Experiments show that the device can reconstruct typical working conditions in dredging projects and accomplish quantitative analysis.
