Abstract

Due to the advantages of no pollution, rapid fire suppression, less water consumption, lower cost, and little damage to the object, water mist fire extinguishing system has been widely used in road tunnels. In order to improve the fire extinguishing performance of water mist fire extinguishing system, a water based extinguishing agent was used as additive and injected into the water mist fire extinguishing system at the proportion of 3%.
