Abstract

Heat exchangers play an important role on production lines in the food industry. For example, they regulate the temperature of fluids in processing systems to meet requirements for pasteurisation, filling operations and food safety. Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) has worked with food processing and packaging company Tetra Pak to develop cost-effective sealing technology which connects the stainless steel components of a new tubular heat exchanger that complies with strict hygiene requirements and standards, as this brief article explains.
