Crosstalk Reduction for a Graded-index Six-mode Fiber

Abstract

We build the bridge between the fiber parameters and the mode-coupling crosstalk for a graded-index six-mode fiber. Simulations show that -40dB crosstalk-level can be achieved through small core size, refractive-index value and core eccentricity.
