PCOS in Ayurveda is correlated with Ar-tavakshaya. It needs early diagnosis and long-term management for avoiding long term complications. This article aims to provide a balanced review of the latest advances and current limitations in our knowledge about PCOS while also providing a few clear and simple principles, based on current evidence-based clini-cal guidelines, for the proper study of pathogenesis of PCOS, also by looking at the findings of modern medicine we are correlate here the exhibiting features of the disease with the dominate Dosha responsible for the disorder.
