Abstract

LepidaSpa, the ICT in-house company of the Public Administrations of the Emilia Romagna region, has realized a regional IoT public network‡, based on the LoRaWan§ technology, free of charge for all public administrations, as well as to private citizens, potentially enabling the collection of relevant data from thousands of new sensors and making them accessible to both the owners of the sensors and, limitedly to institutional or public interest scopes, to every PA entity.
