Abstract

We propose colorless flexi-grid WDM-PON system utilizing polarization multiplexed optical comb-source for downstream and upstream transmission. For proof-of-concept, we experimentally demonstrate full-duplex system carrying downlink and uplink capacity of 10 Gb/s and 2.5 Gb/s, respectively per subscriber over 7 km fiber.
