Abstract

In this paper, a new compensation strategy design of the dead-time effects and other VSI non-linearities is presented for a dual three-phase PMSM. The strategy is based on an estimation of compensation voltages for each motor sub-system by the proposed disturbance observer. This observer is based on the Kalman filter algorithm and the knowledge of the motor model structure and its parameters.
