Abstract

In this paper, the design of a compact multiband antenna is proposed. The antenna is resonating at 2.4 GHz, 5.49 GHz and 7.83 GHz having band of operation 2.33–2.56 GHz for the IEEE 802.11b &g WLAN systems, 4.6–5.75 GHz for the IEEE 802.11a WLAN system.7.29–8.3 GHz for X band applications.
