Analisis Desain Video Aisyah Istri Rasulullah Karya Art Bay Official

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the video design of “Aisyah Istri Rasulullah” by Art Bay Official as a message about an inspirational Muslim woman. This research is qualitative research with research method using descriptive. The data collection techniques by conducting literature studies, field studies, observations and conducting interviews with informants to strengthen data from objects researched. The data obtained is then summarized into a discussion. The analysis of video design in this study uses the semiotic approach of Rolland Barthes to analyze denotations and connotations in illustration design, typography, and character of the design. The analysis show that the story of Aisyah, the narrator of this Hadith, is very important to be used as a reference for how Muslim women should behave, including through personal appearance. This video analysis of Aisyah Istri Rasulullah by Art Bay Official can be a scientific reference for design studies as a way of conveying audio-visual messages about Muslim women who can be used as role models by teenagers and knowing the visual elements in an illustration video become a message delivery. The analysis of Aisyah Istri Rasulullah’s video in this study is expected to be a scientific reference for comic and animation creators in an effort to convey messages through characters Islamic figures.
