Procesamiento de Información Multilingüe en un Sistema de Diálogo

Abstract

This paper presents our current work on spoken dialogue systems concerned with multilingual processing, in order to allow that users of a dialogue system can interact with it using different languages, for example Spanish, English, French, etc. Initially the paper introduces the performance of this kind of system and describes the evolution of this technology. Next it presents the dialogue system in which we have included the multilingual processing, commenting the objectives and performance of its main components. The paper describes later the approach followed to enable the multilingual processing in the system and explains how it has been setup regarding speech recognition, language understanding, dialogue management, sentence generation and speech synthesis. Finally, the paper presents the conclusions and indicates some possibilities for future work.
