Abstract

Piper betleis a Piperaceae family scented perennial creeper. The leaves are high in phenol, a compound with anti-tumor, anti-mutagenic, and immunomodulatory activities. This study aims to evaluate the bioactive compound in Piper betle leaves extract using Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). Over 100 compounds were found in the GC-MS results, with 19 of them having a probability of greater than 30.
