Language and Sexism

Abstract

Our Language is bound up with our humanity. A language cannot be either good or bad, it is affected by the views and values of society. This is very apparent when we look at home the sexism in society is reflected in our languge. Language cannot be sexist in itself but its use may be for good or bad.
