Abstract

The analysis of a new three-phase rectifier with high power factor is presented in this paper, in view of a complete design procedure. The main features of the proposed circuit are low cost, small size, high efficiency and simplicity. With the introduction of the "critical inductance" of the converter, the circuit can be analyzed by a simplified equivalent circuit.
