Metamorfoz da bu anlamda sanatin dogadan yola cikarak yararlandigi alanlardandir. Gunumuz sanatinda uretimleri ile icinde bulundugu zamani etkileyen ve metamorfozu kullanan onemli isimlerden Jan Fabre, cizimler ve heykeller ile baslayan sanat surecine farkli disiplinleri bir araya getiren calismalari ve tiyatro ile devam eder. Fabre’in sanat anlayisi iki ana eksen uzerinden ve bunlara tutunan baglamlar cercevesinde okunabilir. Gecmis ve metamorfoz uzerine kurulan bu eksenlere yasam, olum, guzellik, doga, akil, his, hafiza, bellek, yasamin sikintilari, fiziksel dayaniklilik gibi kavramlar eslik eder. Sanatci, calismalarinda gecmisin izlerine, ustalarin eserlerine gondermelerde bulunurken ayni zamanda hem kavramsal olarak hem de yapitlar uzerinde metamorfozu kullanir. Abstract
