This book presents the results of studies in a new scientific area — carbon photonics. The subjects of the study are synthetic (so-called new carbon) materials: CVD-diamond, single-walled carbon nanotubes, and graphene. Abstract

The propositions and results of the theory of groups and symmetries that can be widely applied in theoretical and mathematical physics are presented extensively.
