Abstract
Towards creative freedom: my ethnographic experience with the Peruvian theatre group Cuatrotablas
Abstract In this article I state propositions in order to offer an analysis of my ethnographic experience with members of the Cuatrotablas Peruvian theatre group. To achieve this objective, I take into consideration pedagogical conversations, electronic messages, a formal interview with the group’s director Mario Delgado Vásquez (1947-2016), the findings of an ethnographic study the group’s actors, my ethnographic annotations and documents related to the artistic production of this group. I elaborate a set of reflections and actions that can be brought to my theater-based lessons as a teacher of Spanish at the college level in San Antonio, Texas.
