Abstract

This paper presents a case study of different educational institutions in the hot humid region of Madurai which has used various sustainable methods and techniques to improve indoor thermal comfort in buildings during the warm period. Energy efficient passive design of educational institutions in hot humid climate regions can contribute to significant energy savings and improve the students' learning environment.
