Trans lator's Preface to Musicology and Difference:Gender and Sexuality in Music Scholarship

Abstract

This is the first anthropological anthology on musicology and theory of difference in the West. The translator introduces feminist musical culture studies and their context as well as the application of contemporary feminism, gender theory, and something concerned with the book's Chinese translation.
