PATTERN OF LIPID PROFILE AMONGST PATIENTS OF NON-DIABETIC CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE ON HEMODIALYSIS- A STUDY AMONGST RURAL POPULATION OF CENTRAL INDIA

Abstract

We are in era of non communicable diseases and Chronic kidneydisease(CKD) is emerging as a major health problem with global prevalenceof around 13.4 %. One of the major causes of death in CKD patients iscardiovascular due to different traditional and not traditional cardiovascularrisk factor amongst which dyslipidemia is treatable. In this study we haveevaluated different lipid parameters among non diabetic CKD patients whobelong to rural background, and they are socio-culturally different withdifferent dietary habits.Keywords:Chronic Kidney disease, Dyslipidemia, Non-diabetic, Hemodialysis
