At the same time, the continuous treatment and the novel mechanism of action leads to the possible appearance of the specific immune-mediated adverse events, some of which can be fatal. Functional tests, analysis of the risk factors for the development of the complications, the search for the predictive markers will improve the effectiveness of immunotherapy.
