Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present the meaning of anti-aging healthcare through the combination of the bitter taste of tea and heart in 『Kissa Yojoki(Drinking tea for Vitalizing)』. To this end, we first examined the natural way of forming human life activity process system, Shen-Ji’s self-control regulation and Qi-Li’s growth-changing regulation, through accelerationg five flavors of four seasons and Five Elements from the natural spontaneous generation. The core of the mechanism of extending health life through drinking tea was analyzed as the relationship between the bitter taste of tea and the affinity of the heart, which is the theoretical background of the combination of five intestines and five flavors. The bitterness of tea has been found to help extend health life expectancy through balence Shen-Ji which is life activity process system and Qi-Li by controlling the heart function. In the future, a follow-up study is needed to objectively scientificize the meaning of anti-aging healthcare through the relationship between the bitter taste of tea and the affinity of the heart as a verification index of the physiological activity of tea and the autonomic nerve of the five intestines.
