Abstract

Congenital scoliosis is a complex spinal deformity that arises during fetal development. It is often associated with other congenital anomalies, such as those found in VACTERL syndrome, which includes vertebral anomalies, anal atresia, cardiac defects, tracheoesophageal fistula, renal anomalies, and limb abnormalities.
