Honey bee farms become the economic backbone of a farmer in Lingsar District West Lombok. The purpose of this study was to detect Varroosis in Apis cerana honey bees as the basic data to determine the level of incidence of Varroosis and find out the types of mites that cause Varroosis in bee farm of Forestry business training and apprenticeship institution (LPPK) Wanawiyata Widyakarya Lingsar West Lombok as the basic data in the determination of this disease. This research was used descriptive epidemiology study with a cross-sectional survey to know the incidence of Varroosis. In Vivo Evaluation was done to adult bees collected from the hive for the presence of Varroosis of 3 location. The mites that cause varroosis were identified under an optical microscope. 100 adult bees were collected from a hive of bee using pin-set and placed in the diagnostic box (150x150mm). The diagnostic box was made of transparent plastic with a hinged lid and side walls had a height of 4 mm. The results of this research showed that Varrosis had been detected in honey bee farm of Forestry business training and apprenticeship institution (LPPK) Wanawiyata Widyakarya Lingsar by incidence 2 (0.66%) of 300 collected honey bees of 3 location.Varroasis has been one of a significant diseases problem in honey bee farm around the world. Varroasis has been one of a significant diseases problem in honey bee farm around the world. Honey bee farms become the economic backbone of a farmer in Lingsar District West Lombok. The purpose of this study was to detect Varroosis in Apis cerana honey bees as the basic data to determine the level of incidence of Varroosis and find out the types of mites that cause Varroosis in bee farm of Forestry business training and apprenticeship institution (LPPK) Wanawiyata Widyakarya Lingsar West Lombok as the basic data in the determination of this disease.
