Abstract

The amount of productivity and consumption of catfish has not shown an efficient marketing mechanism, especially when viewed from the profits received by farmers. Success in marketing catfish is the main focus for farmers. This study aims to determine the benefits of marketing institutions in each marketing channel. The problems encountered in the catfish farming business, among others, are that the production in the cultivators increases with each harvest but the profits obtained are still low. The research method is used to see marketing efficiency using marketing margin analysis, efficiency value and farmer share.
