This study used a descriptive quantitative method with a correlation research design. The participants were 8-grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Surakarta school year 2020/2021. The method of sampling that the researcher used in this study is cluster random sampling. The data for this study is collected through online questionnaires by using google form. In this study, for the data analysis, I use simple linear regression and multiple regression analysis. The result of this study shows that : Learning motivation has a positive correlation with HOTS and also has a regression value 0,401. Self-concept has a positive correlation with HOTS and also has a regression value 0,417. Abstract

本研究的目的是了解学习动机与hot的相关关系,了解自我概念与hot的相关关系,了解学习动机与自我概念与hot的相关关系。本研究采用描述性定量方法,采用相关研究设计。参与者是SMP Negeri 8 Surakarta 2020/2021学年的8年级学生。研究者在本研究中使用的抽样方法是整群随机抽样。本研究的数据是通过使用谷歌表格的在线调查问卷收集的。在本研究中,对于数据分析,我使用了简单的线性回归和多元回归分析。本研究结果显示:学习动机与HOTS呈正相关,且回归值为0.401。自我概念与HOTS呈正相关,回归值为0.417。学习动机和自我概念与HOTS呈正相关,回归值为0.491,决定系数为0.241。
